Materials Provided to Each Syndicate

  • Four (4) Sheets: 4' x 8' x 1/4" Luann Plywood
  • Three (3) Pieces: 2" x 2" x 8' Construction Grade Fir
  • Four (4) Pieces: I" x 2" x 10' Construction Grade Fir
  • One (1): Caulk gun
  • 200 plastic bundle ties (ties do not need to be removed after construction)
  • Ten (10) Tubes: Sikaflex® 291 Adhesive/Sealant

For Sailors only:
Materials for sailing syndicates are supplied by Garth Hitchens as outlined in Appendix A.

A plastic ground cover at least 15' x 20' is required to be provided by the Syndicates.

Appendix A

Sailing Rig list of materials

  • 50' of 1/4" polyester rope
  • One 5/16" drill bit
  • One 20' aluminum tube, 1" inside diameter, 1 1/4" outside diameter, .581 lbs./ft.
  • One roll of 30 yards x 2" duct tape
